About This Service

Companion Services were designed to help people get back out into the community. We offer rides to and from the doctor's office, the grocery store, a day at the movies, or to relax at a local park.

Our companions are trained to take detailed notes during doctor visits, then report back to the responsible party about what transpired during the exam, any possible follow-up visits or procedures, or new medications prescribed. For social outings, notes describing the outing, what the client did, what purchases were made, and their enjoyment are documented to assist the responsible parties in making future plans or for court-mandated reports.

SeaStar uses only company-owned sedans and wheelchair vans which are insured and maintained on a regular basis for client safety. All companions are trained in CPR and have received 8 hours of caregiver training.
