SeaStar Senior Services provides in-home care, companionship, and care management for seniors and vulnerable adults in the Portland Metro area and Clark County, Washington. We take onboarding seriously. Every caregiver receives a background check, paid training, orientation, and a nurse evaluation before starting. Our supervisor will personally meet you at your first shift with each new client, because your success matters to us. Duties:

  • Provide companionship to clients living in their own homes
  • Meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands
  • Social interaction with the clients, such as puzzles, games, and reading
  • Personal care, depending on assigned client needs
  • Medication administration, depending on assigned client needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with seniors and adults with disabilities
  • CPR certified or able to obtain certification
  • Good observational and writing skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must have a smartphone for clocking in/out and documentation purposes
  • Driver's license, car, and clean driving record for some clients

Compensation:

  • Pay is $21 - $23 an hour depending on experience and education
  • Paid sick leave
  • Training provided
  • $150 bonus at 90 days for CNAs
